Our Subconscious Mind is great at keeping us alive and comfortable, so it will do its best to consistently provide convincing reasons to get us to preserve our energy and efforts. Even though this process is key for survival, it can mess with other goals that require more energy, time and planning.
We encourage you to practice becoming aware of the reasons your Subconscious Mind uses to try to convince you to engage or not engage in a specific activity each time. Identifying these thoughts allows you to come up with strategies you can use to influence yourself.
Don't let your Subconscious convince you, try convincing it instead.
Trying out different things and tracking outcomes can help us identify opportunities to improve and develop effective strategies to meet our goals.
Every time you feel overwhelmed or anxious take two slow breaths and note how you feel afterwards.
Take a moment every night to self reflect and identify one repeating behavior or thought pattern. Think about how it aligns to your goals or not.
At the beginning or end of every day, write down 3 things you are grateful for. Consider how you life would be without them.
You can download the following templates and examples to track, analyze and summarize your activities.
You can also use the Google Form below to log daily information about your challenge and view other's responses.
