Perspectivas Globales

Perspectivas Globales (PG) is a free, 24/7 community co-working space and service center in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, operating under OCA's leadership since January 2025. 

Origin Story

Perspectivas Globales was created in 2020 by a local college professor and successful entrepreneur as a way to give back to the Mayaguez community. OCA was one of the organizations that participated in the program. When the program was at risk of shutting down in 2024, OCA stepped up to take leadership — ensuring this resource remained available to the community, particularly for youth who benefit most from access to professional networks and co-working infrastructure. 

What PG Offers

  • Free, open 24/7 co-working space and drop-in center in Mayaguez
  • Service hub for system-involved youth
  • Entrepreneurial events and networking opportunities
  • Referrals to mentors, partner programs, and professional networks
  • Connection to OCA's full network of community leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals


 PG is located in Mayaguez, known as the "engineering capital of Puerto Rico" — a fitting home for a hub focused on entrepreneurship and professional development. 

Impact Since January 2025

  • 30 businesses and members supported
  • 4 entrepreneurial events hosted, connecting youth, entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors
  • $22,500 provided to member companies in seed funding
